Painting has been my passion since I was very young. I used to sketch and express myself since my primary school days. During that time, my main medium was watercolours. My first art teachers were my mom and my elder sister.
Together, they introduced me to traditional Indian art styles.
My preferred medium is Acrylic and Oil but I also use watercolour and acrylic ink with bright and bold colours in my paintings which has influence from traditional art.
I come from a family of Indian jewellery designers. Therefore I am also inspired by my father’s gold work which leads me to explore the gold leaf in my art work.
